I would create a button or hotspot area in one of the corners of the thumbnail or below the thumbnail to display the zoomed image. As I am scrolling around looking at thumbnails and trying to evaluate the entries, the pop-ups are constantly displaying covering up what I'm trying to look at. If I want to zoom a particular logo, I should have to consciously place my mouse somewhere. As it is now, no matter where I put my mouse on the screen, it seems something pops up. It is very distracting.
