Hi everybody. I'll just ask. Is it okay when we enter the final phase we add another concept (add a new logo)? In the open phase there is no logo like now. Thank you for the explanation!

if is not a copy or concepts from others I can't see the problem.... sometimes the CH select a designer to work with and ask for iterations or new concepts

not at all, from my beginning times, I just made the very same question about introducing new concept in the finalist phase and I think was designer illumina to answer me sort of "as long is not a copy from other concept in the contest"
what I do believe is restricted is in Selection. only for revisions

Basically in all cases:
If you didn't do it in blind, and other designers did, don't do it out of blind.
If you didn't do it in blind but no one else did it before you, then go ahead. If you are submitting new elements/ideas out of blind it is up to you to make sure it wasn't done before.
If the client asks you to copy someone's element from blind contact support and the other designer and explain the situation. I will immediately hold the payment and will contact both designers involved before releasing the prize. Collaboration is better than refunds since without happy clients LT would not exist.

If in finalists phase and no one has done the idea then go ahead.
If in open phase and no one has done the idea yet then go ahead.
If in selection and no one has done it yet go ahead. Only the top ranked designer can submit in the selection phase so if the client wants revisions in the phase they would have to move you into 1st place.

yes, I understand. In essence, we can add new concepts in any phase as long as other designers have not used the concepts. Thank you laura for your explanation!
