This webpage is using significant energy

Hi. Does any of you use Safari browser on a Mac?

I'm not sure what changed recently within the code of LT website, but I started seeing some performance issues. After logging it all looks good and works fine, but when I open a contes subpage and start scrolling down, I see a lot of white space, and it's all loading very slow, and it also stops responding occasionally. When I experience this, Safari also throws an error on top:

"This webpage is using significant energy. Closing it may improve the responsiveness of your Mac."

I tried Chrome and Firefox, both work just fine as before. No issues here.

I wonder if it's just me, but nothing really changed on my computer regarding hardware or software.

This is related to the recent website update with hires entry images. Other browsers work great, but Safari, that was my favorite browser, cannot handle it well. We are still looking for a solution.

No it won't. The problem is not related to anything listed there, but can be related to recent changes within the code as Alex already pointed out.

Hopefully he will find a solution soon. I can easily use other browsers for now, but it might be an issue for some clients who use Safari as their main browser. Fingers crossed.
