Hi all, sorry if it's banal, but I always have doubts, and I'm confused with football, soccer etc.
In Italy football uses the round ball, in US the oval ball? Or not?

USA football is not soccer (north american slang) and uses the oval shape

Thank you! I'll have a culture on football ... I just want to avoid putting a round ball where an oval ball is required .... the truth is that my ignorance about football is .... international! :( :)

I know it's very confusing. Not sure why we call our game football? It should be call waste of time ball since I swear they play 3 whole minutes of the game in 3 hours and the rest is huddling, commercials, entertainment and butt slapping :)
