I know it's not proper to talk to other designers about each other's ideas, and so I have not done it.

However, it would be so cool if there was a way to combine Designer A's idea with Designer B and/or C, and have them share the prize money equally.

Just my $0.02 to consider.

best thing is to contact those designers and maybe it can work out.
I have once sold the second rank design to contest holder too who wanted it. so he got 2 logos.

Some desigres dont want to share their ideas with others, but some are very open to it.
