I want to attract people to my contest who know how to animate charachters. (Very rough figures. Minimal shading, or detail).
I am unclear about what technology is available, or if people still do this with pencil and paper.
I want to animate my logo's "character".
Price is a very important thing. We can't afford too much. We need a 5 second animation.

Hi Scott, I would encourage you to seek out logo designs by designers who specialize in logos, then seek out persons who can animate your logo. Designers and animators may have over lapping skills and a few might excel in both, but you would be missing out of a large design pool if you limited your logo choices to only those who can animate.
