Dear clients,
You may have noticed a change in the format of the FEATURED contests. They are no longer clogging the front page but cascading in normal fashion with other contests. Ownership received much feedback regarding the original way of organization. It was very frustrating to them and they often ignored such contests.
We hope the way they are now organized will help you more. Please remember, if you decide to FEATURE a contest the designers are assuming you have criteria that will draw them to you. This is what they are likely thinking when they browse FEATURED contests:
1) Has the client committed to prompt feedback? I don't care about him/her if he doesn't care about me or others.
2) Is the brief simple, sufficient and understandable (consider that many of our designers first language is not English)
2) Is the pay normal or above average?
Designers need to see that your contest is worth the FEATURE label.

Additionally your contest particulars will be emailed to our designers who want the notifications. Previously they needed to login. Now they have everything in front of them. This helps designers evaluate your contest at a glance.
