#42 We very much like the animal silhouette in black with the pointing signs. The Bronx zoo however uses giraffes and uses the legs to produce images of the city skyline - which is very clever! From this perspective we feel we need to consider a different animal as our icon - perhaps (if it works) a kangaroo, elephant, polar bear, bongo... We also would consider the now extinct Blue Buck significant for its representation as a species that was eliminated out of existence by hunting.

#39 Concept is great however the feedback from our crew is that it takes the mind a few seconds to make out the rhino and the sign.

#38 Concept is good - however giraffe and birds are similar to our friends at the Bronx Zoo.

Thanks for the feedback. Is the blue buck in the current first ranked design your idea or the designers idea? I do not want to copy any others designers ideas.

I will try to rework...

#42 Yes the animal represented in #1 is representative of an antelope - and with the longer horns could be construed as a Blue Buck. Thanks for your prompt query!

I made some changes and still trying to figure out a more creative way to mix in the signs with an animal. Will keep brainstorming...

#52 We really like the simplicity of the design. Can we suggest a deep blue or black for the icon. Red is a favorite colour with our Chinese friends who are starting to see the world. Very good!

in #60 I tweaked the icon, changing size of the ears and the map marker...

just fyi, any icon can be turned into an app such as #84 and #85.
