just an idea. . if you want to use logo on t shirts etc then actually plain color is better than gradient aka where one color goes smoothly over to another. in print perspective plain colr is allways better :)
Can you show me a color tranisition in the logo? I know you mentioned it's easier to print with a plain color, but it's still in my mind. Also is there a way to a type of barbell or dumbbell in there, but making it attractive to women as well? Thanks.
Thanks. I may be going in the wrong direction here, but can you show some different fonts for the word training? Also maybe the barbell weights do need to be a bit more visible. Not sure how to explain that.
Yeah that's what I meant. Thanks. Although I like the effect of the slightly blurred weights people may think there's something wrong with their eyesight :-) #53 may be the best one with a white back ground for now. #51 and #52 also look good with different font. Let me know if you have any other ideas.
Yeah, it will mostly be used on promotion material, which includes flyers and business cards, but also clothing/caps. Shiny probably doesn't work well on clothing and caps right?
logos i have made here they all work in different solutions. aka with all the effects, simpler version, plain colors and even pure black and white version. So theres many possible solutions. each version has its place where it fits
Nice. I like that silver steel look :) This is my first contest. Would I get one version when winning or would I get more to use on different prints? Not entirely sure how it works.
in contest time you can choose only one as winner. but if contest is ended and if you want you can contact the wnning designer and ask other versions of winning logo as well. Usually designers are very happy to provide you with other versions of their winning design.
but as the main logo you get is vector file it is very easy to modify as you want if you have software to do it. Vector is a format that allows to scale logo without quality loss, Instead of raster graphics that if you scale them they get messy and pixelated
what kind of software would that be? Like Adobe illustrator? I like the steel look and font, can you show me what it looks like with a white background (#53) or would you do something different?
and heres white version. It works but it looks better on black, Printin steel/silver does not give very good results usually, but it can be used for example vehicle decals. the weights can be cutted out of silver metallic decals. or same can be done where ever decals can be used. Even on windows etc
About software, yes Adobe Illustrator is one of them. other is Corel Draw. But I dont think you must have it, because you will send (i think) your logos and info to design company anyway who makes the promotional material
You're right, the steel version looks a lot better on black, but the black stroke helps. I will get the mrs to have a look at that one. I decided to have the contest extended for a couple of days. It just gives me a little bit more time to figure out what I want. Hope that works with you as well. It's good you're trying different variations. I think the barbell looks better than the dumbells to be honest. I also like what you did with the letters in #65, sort of overlapping, but I do like the Y slightly taller than the others. Not entirely sure if that looks good though.
hehe I love personal opinions, always good to have. I will think about that one. I definitely like the letters like that, slightly overlapping. Ok this is for the mrs, can you try one with a turquoise background?
bright colors like the #71 and #72 are very good because they are eyecatching. idea of the logo is to make it visible as possible. So bright colors works very well on that. Some people think that bright colors are not colors that represent trust. but i think its weird thinking :) color is color
colors can be change at any time. You should maybe visulaize diferent colors in enviroment where the logo goes. example if you have a training place what it looks like what colors would fit there. interior and exterior and surrondings.
as i said before. you can choose one as winner, but after contest ends and you have accepted the files that includes the winning entry, you can contact designer and ask other versions too. we cannot offer different version in contest time but after contest is ended we can send different versions to Contest Holders if they want them
