Let me be the first to say "Welcome" and if I can do anything to help you please let me know.

Here are a few entries to get things started.

#1 | A very simple clean wave in calming colors
#2 | The wave forms an abstract "W"
#3 | A sort of scrapbook photo idea

Hi Paul - thanks for getting things started!

#3 - though the blues are pretty - I wasn't able to extrapolate a "W" but I like the idea of fusing a W into a wave... Also, the square feels too much like an iphone icon or tv screen...Since this is private membership, members need to get a status feel from the logo, so they'll feel proud to wear, let's say, on a golf shirt. Font could work in the right scenario (don't want to rule out fonts so soon)...

#1/#2 - i don't see the "W" here, but prefer #2 wave over #1...I may want to see equal or more weight given to Beach Club....versus how u've made so teeny and below a separating line.

Overall, I'm looking for something with more 'wow' factor.

"The moon could actually be interpreted as waves, too.. Not crazy about font. Would like to see something more flow-y, organic. Would like the whole logo be more sexier, relaxed." THX if you can refine!

This abstract wave also has the three points of a "W"...it appears to reflect in the wet sand....

Here is a nice signature wordmark with the simple icon. You basically have three looks you could go with. Just the wordmark, just the icon, or both together as shown here...nice for marketing.
