Like the direction you are taking but needs to be a bit softer....not quite so "gun totin' ". Also want to include our company logo in some way and just use block print for company name. Dig the "pink camo" and sutle pink ribbon but gun is a little over the top. Needs to appeal to women who may not like the fact that their significant other is a hunter but they do appreciate the sport.
Thanks for the feedback. Let me know if this is more the direction I should be going... it's a logo for the 'event', Ladies Night Out, not a new logo for Wulf, right?
Correct...it's a logo for the event but the company name is still important as these women will be wearing the shirt and we want it to continue to create brand awareness for the company. This latest submission is heading more in the right direction but would be a bit difficult on anything but a white t-shirt. We will most likely use black or pink for the background color. And the tag line..."it's not just a guy thing" should be include somewhere along with the year as women collect these shirts year after year.
On entries 8 & 9, I believe they are bit 'busy'. As mentioned on your other submission, please include tag line "it's not just a guy thing" somewhere on the design along with the year as they become collectibles for the ladies. Also, design should stand out on black or pink t-shirt.
The ribbon is getting lost in the target. If there is a way to bring the ribbon out and more to life with the arrow shooting through it.
Take It's Not Just a Guy Thing and have it wrap around the top of the target.
Keep WOS logo with Ladies Night Out 2010 at the bottom of graphic.
I like the direction.
Design on ENTRY #1. I actually love this and would like to see if we could expand on this look a bit. Put- Ladies Night out over the top of half moon on left hand side. Ladies Night Out 2010- in a script font Remove type Wulf Outdoor Sports at bottom of logo and replace with. It's Not Just A Guy Thing. Show WOS logo next to - It's not just a guy thing. You may be able to use breast cancer ribbon behind logo and It's Not Jut A Guy thing to make it flow all together Example would be in Entry #6. I really like this.
Really like where this has gone...incorporates all the elements clearly. Can you try something similar using a different "hunting" graphic? Something like you did with Entry #17 where you used a gun.
Thank you for the continued feedback. I am enjoying this contest... as a Texas woman raised on a ranch and around hunting, even though I don't hunt myself, I would wear the t-shirt of the woman in a hoodie holding the gun, just because it is cool, but that's just me. Here is one with a more realistic arrow as well as a gun and knife... let me know what you like and I am happy to provide it for you.
Yes, you definitely seem to have a very good 'feel' for what we are trying to reach with this event and the design. One of our assoicates, female, also liked the woman in the hoodie holding a gun...the very first you did. I did not as it reminded me of Patty Hearst...if you remember her. I certainly do not mind trying something with a gun....or something with a deer (doe). Do you have any ideas for something without a target but using a gun or a deer? Our t-shirt last year was on a black blackround and would like to use a different background this year just to be different. Would love any more ideas you may have. And thanks for your responsiveness on all our comments.
Sorry, the newest ones...w/ deer....just don't do anything for me. Seem contrived instead of something unique. Thanks for the try but think your efforts on the target are best!
Quick question as we close on the end of this contest....
Can you do the woman holding the gun WITHOUT a hoodie? I think it's the hoodie that makes me feel it's more of a 'gangster' look than a 'huntress' look. Just wondering if you could soften it up just a bit to me more feminine.
