do yu think you could try and put a bend in the rod. so it ooks like the guy is playing a fish. We're not sure that its obvious that the guy is fisherman.

is there any way to make the circle look more like a globe? give it a 3d type effect? maybe some shadowing or something

Yeah, Im not sure this works as well as the guy. the reel doesnt look right and the rod looks a bit wierd too as the line comes out of the rod half way up the rod. can you try and rework this somehow

I quite like the overall style but i think the legibility of the WFD letters isnt great. its a bit too busy. i wonder if you change the W to all green rather than the map effect, it might be better.
