Hi there. Here's a concept I propose for your company's logo.
To communicate a working dog, I thought of the lab rat who is usually depicted running on a wheel. But instead of a "working" rat, I used a dog. This arrangement of the elements not only makes the logo mark unique and memorable but it also communicates cleverness, dedication and hard work.
The logo is still recognizable even when reduced to small sizes, e.g., a favicon, and even in black & white for printing to your business cards and other collateral.

Hi again. Forgot to mention in my description that this logo can be animated for playing before a main feature film or a game splash screen.
The dog can be seen zoomed while running then slowly zooming out and showing that the dog is actually running on a wheel -- not on a usual ground or field.
