Thanks Lumaku, I really like this design. For some reason, I prefer the version with the name on the border; but I'm waiting for feedback from the rest of the committee.

I like this version with the less bulky border better. Is there a way to incorporate another color or two? Preppy pink, green, salmon orange?

I love this font and the image too. Could you forward a 2nd version with a contrasting color (preppy pink/green or orange?) around the image of the river with the sun overhead? It'd be nice to incorporate a splash of color.

I really like the image b/c it represents the tree represents our community & friendships and the river ties to our surroundings.
Could you remove the letter "D" at the end of EST? So it reads, "EST. 1980"?

Could you change the colors to be preppy colors (i.e., navy blue, hot pink or salmon pink, kelly green?). I like the fonts & the river running through the logo design.
