Although depending on people's opinion, or popular vote, might be important in some cases, making a brand requires more professional approach! I'll leave these designs in case you change your mind! Thank you for very constructive feedback on this!

It was tough choosing the winner. Your design was great but didn't get the votes needed to win. Thank you for making adjustments and being a true professional! JB

:) Yes, one of the things I like on LT,...and contest holders are also benefiting from this healthy competition among designers,...of course, if they understand basics about forming an effective brand/visual identity, across variety of its practical applications.
Glad to hear it,...this is well balanced design, with strong symbolic message related to woman's empowerment. #35 is essentialy the same, but only in more general layout.
Here's monochromatic/black version of the logo,...also deliverable. Durring logo use (printing and web), you'll come to the situation where this version is useful, or even required, so it is always good that formed visul identity works well as monochromatic.
I'm glad you like it,...I'm also very satisfied with this development, and that is why I've explored it a bit more.
Apart from unique/recognizable concept, this specific emblem layout offers flexibility when it comes to easy replacement of year segment (...and even location, if it comes to that in the future), while maintaining the established brand. And as you've mentioned, it can be easily used as stickers, banners, posters,...stamps, monochromatic and negative space versions.
Anyway, feel free to let me know if you have some other suggestions for improvement,...so far, your input was very constructive. Thank you!
Here's one very interesting emblem form design,...this is very suitable for advertisment of these conferences, since it is already in form of a poster, and even as monochromatic looks good and recognizable, as brand. Printing on a large scale would be cheap as well! Just one practical option I thought you might consider. Any thoughts!? Thnx!
Here's one clean, contemporary, pro-looking design concept, involving profiles of women of different ethnicities standing together. On entries #19, #20 and #21, American segment is subtly presented through colors, but if you prefer something more obviously American, therea re variations on #24, #25, #26 and #28. I've also presented couple of layouts, so you can choose, depending on practical logo applications.
Hope you'll like these, and if you have some suggestions for improvement, feel free to jump in with ideas! Thank you!
