Thank you for this submission. We are wondering if you can change the "I" to an open door. We want the "I" to stand out in this logo. We are not thrilled about the idea of using a woman in the logo though, so please do not use that image. Can you also decrease the size of the "RE". Make the font on the "W" and "S" a Windsor font. Thanks!
I'm just stepping back and taking a look at this revision, when put all together. I've got some concerns about the letter I
I guess what I'm trying to say is I understand your reasoning behind wanting certain letters to stand out or others to not have much focus. I'm just trying to keep the organization name readable.
Let me throw a curveball at you. Can we change completely? I will do my best to describe what we are thinking, I have tried to upload a copy of our drawing but this tournament will not allow me to. If you have an e-mail I can use I will send it your way. First, we will start with a rectangle with rounded edges. In the middle will be a globe that extends out of the rectangle width wise. It will not show continents but just latitude and longitude lines (very faint). Inside the globe will be our abb. WIRES. The W and S will be a coral red, the I will be black and the RE will be a deep green? Maybe some variation of colors would not hurt as options? Above the globe in the rectangle would read "Women Impacting" and below the globe in the rectangle would read "Real Estate Solutions" Maybe we can also throw in a USB plug lining the rectangle? Let me know your thoughts on this? Thanks!
Hi Jennie, I'm just waiting on a rule clarification on submitting new concepts during the judging phase. I'm under the impression that it's not a problem anymore, but I know in the past it was enough to get a designer at least a 3rd of the way out the door.
Outside email is a definite no-no though. You could however use a service like tinypic.com to upload an image and post a direct link in the comments. You don't even have to signup to do it. I think it's even easier than email for sharing a image with someone.
I'll have an answer here for you shortly and I'm pretty clear on what you're describing.
I'm not sure what you meant by using the same font for 'Women Impacting' as 'Real Estate Solutions' as I've never made them different. I did make one a little larger than the other, but that was just to keep it balanced without changing the intra-character spacing, which I tried but it didn't look right. I'd be happy to show you if needed.
