I don't know if you can see the logo from the other designer but I like his orange color better on the wolverine. I think its just a brighter orange or maybe has more red in it? If you could try to make the color stronger in both the faded and solid logo and "wolverine" a little taller. Can you give the "i" in wolverine a black tip at the top?
I'm sorry, I feel like I'm nitpicking it but I like your logo better but the words of the other designer better.

Can you make the following changes to the logo above as well as the one with the dark orage?:
1. the oil drop and "resources" darker black 2. the Wolverine word a little taller. 3. add a greyed line underneath the the words and beneath, add "UPSTREAM OIL AND GAS COMPANY in light grey

Thanks. Can you make it a darker orange at the bottom and getting a lighter color fade to the top and make wolverine in the same dark orange. I would also like to the letters more block style.
