The mouth of the wolf is a lot better, and the use of all 4 colors in color blocks is interesting, but something isn't working anymore.
It feels like the heron has shifted from being a heron to more of a rooster. In 104, it looks a LOT more heron like... can we get back to that shape somehow?
I circled an area that may benefit from being purple/colored in to give more shape to the heron's neck and lengthen the wolf a bit... can you try that?
There maybe value in using the colors differently... currently the yellows are ambiguous in what they describe... is it wolf or is it heron? I think the heron is intended to be just the negative space, but because the way the yellow sits, it's unclear. Can you make the entire wolf out of the purples, and the heron out of the yellows? that may help address the "rooster-like" feel of the heron as well.
Yeah! We like the updated wolf! One comment... the wolf feels just a bit too toothy... can you get rid of the back teeth and the big gap at the back of the mouth, and keep the front teeth?
This color arrangement is interesting, but we think we still like the colors how you have them in #104. Can you try both this one and #104 in both color arrangements?
Thanks for trying to re-angle the wolf to be more "howling at the moon-y". We think this angle is still better, but we remain concerned that hte wolf still feels a bit too much like a horse. Can you experiment with tweaking the art just a bit to get the wolf to feel more wolf-like? Now we think it might have something to do with the Heron's jaw line. Or try opening the wolf's mouth? Not sure what would work...
This is getting really close, and is our favorite of all your versions so far.
The one niggling issue that we have is that the wolf feels a bit too much like a horse for some reason. Maybe it needs to be angled up a bit more as if it's howling at the moon?
The colors are great! See what you can do about the shape/energy of the wolf to make it feel more wolf-y.
Yes! The alignment of the wolf and heron together really works here!
One comment on the graphic here is that the yellow portion has only three "jags" whereas the graphic in 70 and 71 have 4 ... can you try to get a 4th jag into the graphic here? We like that shape a bit better.
A few other niggles...
The & feels too overwhelming at present. Is it too big? should it be less bold?
We like the sequencing of the colors in 70 better... can you flip the purples with each other and flip the yellows with each other?
I see how you tried re-aligining the heron and the wolf, but they still don't feel integrated. It's like the heron is just pasted on top of the wolf. what DOES work is that the heron's beak lines up with the wolf's mouth.
Try getting the two creatures to share an eye, perhaps?
Also, with the new alignment, the purple is a lot less solid than in your other graphics. It's nice to have the purple and yellow more evenly weighted. Try to adjust the heron's neck so it's more centered inside the wolf's?
Separately, this one is probably still our favorite of all your submissions so far. I've circled the bottom edge of the yellow segment... it feels a little too straight, like it was cut from a circle. Can you try to make it more jagged, like the purple back of the wolf?
Also, experiment with color. What you did in #24 is kind of cool because of all the additional purple and yellows. You might be able to get the 2ndary purple and yellow from our branding colors into the graphic as well
Prefer this color combo to #37.
The bottom bit of the yellow feels a lot like fire, so it makes the wolf feel more like a dragon. Appreciate that it isn't FLAT though, like in #40.
Graphic is very cool.
It makes us want to experiment with the following:
-- can you see if you can get the heron and the wolf's eyes to align so they're the same?
-- the cutout behind the wolf's ear could also be part of the heron's feathers
The graphic here is pretty awesome. We like this one better than the more "fire-y" version that you also submitted because of the wolf's eye being present, and the simpler lines. Can we see a few more permutations of this logo? Some things to try would be to simplify the number of colors, or make the bottom left edge of the logo less of a perfect circle curve and more dynamic.
This graphic has a lot of forward momentum to it. It feels powerful and strong and conveys a sense of strong leadership without being aggressive.
Ultimately, we like how the graphic and the text fit together really well, but we imagine we'd want a version with the graphic/text together and another version with just the graphic to use alone.
