Thanks a lot for selecting me as your winner. I am preparing for the final files of the winning design now. I will send you through PM your other request versions. God bless!
Winner winner chicken dinner! This one looks great!
For the sake of our future flexibility, we would like this logo design in exactly this format with a transparent background along with the following permutations:
- same concept, transparent background, just the graphic alone
- same concept, white text, transparent background so we can use on any other background color
- monochrome graphic and text in each of our brand colors using the color format you have for #274
- monochrome graphic alone in each of our brand colors.
In our survey, people really liked how this concept works in monochrome.
That being said, others thought we should stick with the original colors that we use against the white background, and just let it be a purple background instead (with white text). That would make it yellow moon, purple wolf, and white heron.
Also, folks recommended trying yellow moon, white wolf, purple heron.
Lets see both those combinations as well?
Again, for this as well, downsize the & to be the same height as the f and h.
Ok! The survey results are in, and #257 and #232 were the clear winners. We did get a few pieces of input that we'd like to work through before we call them final though.
First, the heron was sometimes confused as a snake. We got two ideas from our folks on how to address that: the feathers and the beak.
The feathers are the heron are too fine/delicate, and hard to see when the logo is small. Can you play around with making them a bit more distinct and (in some ways) simpler so that they show up as the logo size gets smaller? Consider only have 1 or 2 feathers?
For the beak, try making it more distinct from the head. Give it more of an angle and maybe make in longer? See the heron in our current logo for a reference on the shape.
The other feedback we got was on the text. Try downsizing the & so that it's the same height as the f and h that surround it. Then give a bit more breathing room between the graphic and the text.
Do these changes to both this one and #232. We'll then use that to pick between the two.
Thank you so much for all your hard work! I think we've landed where we need to for us to send out a survey to our audience and vet the ideas. Hold tight for results.
Please check #274 with negative wolf, #275 without the moon, #277 with the moon is just an outline, and #279 with an outline wolf and moon. Hope you like it. God bless!
We have several versions of this concept in play right now.
One thing we're trying to figure out is how these concepts would work on a non-white background. Sometimes we use one of our colors as the background color, and then we want to be able to overlay the logo on top. The logo COULD be in monochrome white, potentially (we see that a lot with other brands), but we want to see what you're able to come up with to give us a sense of how it would/could play.
Can you play around with all of the concepts we've currently got ranked and show them to us against the dark purple or yellow backgrounds?
I drew a line across the bottom of the wolf ... can you try making that line follow the curve of the circle, and just carry the purple from the wolf all the way down. We want to feel like it's not a disembodied wolf head, but that we've just cut the wolf's body out of view (like we do for the heron).
Ok, this concept is still in the running. There's something that works about this. Can you try this version with the blue piece of the "moon" made with that same yellow.
I drew a line along the edge of the circle... can you eliminate that piece of the circle, and just have the circle connect from the left edge of the wolf's neck to the right edge of the heron's?
Also, we still have your #45 in our ranking, because there's something about the "moon" behind the wolf that kinda works. Can we see this version with either a moon outline (in the same purple) or a yellow moon with that same white outline you use in #45?
Like this shape. The colors definitely add some interest, but it's almost like the use of color isn't intentional enough (also, I think the light purple isn't one of our brand colors... could you try the lighter purple that we have as our brand color? it's a big brighter and has more red).
I wonder if it would be interesting to just highlight the "top of the head" for both animals in their accent color? I've circled the portion on the wolf that I mean... maybe try that with the heron as well?
This one is our favorite out of these last 3 (174, 173), but we like the bottom edge of 174 better. The bottom edge on this one swoops left, whereas in 174 its more up/down and left/right. Can you try the bottom from 174 but using this wolf/heron alignment?
The bottom edge on this graphic is better than 150 because of the fur-like quality, but let's keep that quality going all the way across (get rid of the body of the heron, and let it just be neck).
Hrm.... interesting... can you actually just eliminate the wolf's eye in this one?
Also, the bottom swoop of the graphic draws our eye too much (see markup). It's as if it shouldn't be so smooth. Can you try adjusting it to be more furry, and only have the heron's neck showing (don't worry about the body of the heron).
Thanks a lot for the feedback. Please check #150. I think I cant make the eye of the wolf and heron in one because I saw it with other designer's idea. Sorry for delay response, I supposed to do it during blind phase. I will try to make other variations. God bless!
This is very cool. A couple of thing we'd like to see:
- add in the text again, like you have it in 45. try the text in a variety of colors.
- the profile of the wolf is awesome. It'd be fun to try to get the wolf and the heron's eyes to line up, and the beak to travel down the snout of the wolf... is that something you can experiment with?
Interesting concept. Things to try:
- make the wolf and the heron feel more connected. Right now it feels like they were both cut out of paper and overlaid on top of each other. Would be cool to see if you can try to make them feel like they share components or are a part of each other.
Also, try this concept with JUST the wolf & heron images, and without the circle background behind it.

Just wanted to make sure these comments didn't get lost in the shuffle. We'd love to see these changes!
Thx!

- make the wolf negative space, and the heron white.
- eliminate the "moon" and just have the wolf in white
