The wolf feels slimmer and more sleek here (as compared to #50) but there's something about the way that you dropped the wings of the heron that make it feel like the heron is all off proportion now. Try moving the wings back up to overlap/sit inside the wolf?
This is our favorite of the three new concepts you provided. The fur on the wolf feels the most appropriate.
- I've traced a line that feels like it could benefit from pulling in a little further to the right - make the heron's neck a bit slimmer/longer so that more of the wolf is there. (Markup 1)
- Additionally, the bottom edge of the graphic may look better if it has more of a furry element to it rather than a straight/smooth cut-off.
- Finally, let's see the graphic is a single color... that might add a more drama to it
Another thing to try...
The wolf in your graphic has a bit of a cuddly teddy-bear vibe that we'd like to move away from. Can you experiment with a different wolf profile (slimmer? more sleek?) to give it a sense of being a bit more wild/in the woods?
Thanks very much for your feedback. It is very helpful and appreciated. I think I understand and will do my best to capture your vision. I do still like the bold simplicity of this one though : )
Best, Rich
We saw your new submissions, #113, #114, and #116. Of those three #113 is the clear winner for us. Here's what we like:
- the text treatment being a bit more bold is compelling... we're curious if there's a middle ground between what exists in #113 and what's here.
We still like the simplified art of this one better than the gradient color treatment you used for the graphics in the new versions. Can you try color BLOCKS instead of gradients? Perhaps the light purple and yellow in color blocks outlining/shadowing the heron?
Still like the wolf/heron graphic, but not a big fan of the circle boundary. Can you eliminate the circle, and instead try extending the shape of the heron just a big further down so we can see the top edges of it's wing span (we'd like to hint at the fact that the bird is in flight). This would likely make the heron not negative space, but rather a yellow overlay on top of the blue.
May also try seeing what it looks like to center the graphic over the & rather than over the full "wolf&heron" text.
This is pretty great! The wolf and heron look strong and powerful, and it's fun to have the heron actually be negative space. We like that they share an eye too.
A couple of things to try: do the same logo, but swap the white and purple with each other. We'd like to see what it looks like against a white background (as that will often be what we have to do anyway).
Also, maybe add more color complexity to the graphic by using some of the other color options and to give it more dynamics?

Let's keep trying to make the bottom edge more "furry" though. I've drawn an attempt at what I mean.

Also some gradient and depth added to the wolf/heron graphic.

Thanks again

Try to experiment with different treatments of the text now... maybe bold? black font?
Also, experiment with adding "shading" to the graphic with the use of the other purple and other yellow.

For this one, I'd like to see a version where the sub-feathers are eliminated. I've circled them here.
