#3 und #4 are truly close to my idea of how it could finally be. I cannot decide between #3 and #4 :-) I like both, the simple orange as well as the fine half. And both are appropriate symbols for a strong brand recognition.
In #5 and #6 i think it's a kind of orange orbit right? Well, i don't think people catch that, it's too small and not much enough an orange. But the idea is a good one. An orange world on wheels is what we use now in the current symbol for the software (but our current one is plain, just not sophisticated enough that's why we need a new one).
#8 is an interesting option. The orange orange and an orange circle seems a little to much to me. My 2 suggestions for #8: without the circle or the circle in grey?
#7... the same. But i am not sure if the small symbol will be clear enogh, even after changing or removing the circle.
