NancyCarterDesign, I think you're headed in the right direction with the style. It is elegant, professional and contemporary... all of the things we asked for.
I would like to see different imagery if possible. We've listed a number of contests on LT and have seen the same leaves done in the same way in each of the contests. We really want to see something "new".
I would also like to see some different font choices. I like using script, but would like something more easily readable. I'm trying to picture this logo on a billboard and don't know if the names could be instantly recognizable in the few seconds someone has to see it. I understand the name is very long and therefore poses a challenge.
With all of that said, I think you're right on track with the "style" of the logo.
