crampfenburg01, thank you for your submissions! I really like the simplicity of the design and the legibility of the font choice. I also like the various color schemes you have provided.
However, I'd like to see some new imagery. We have run a number of contests on LT and have seen the face profile used many, many times. I also noticed you are using the exact same face in another contest (Hamlin Robinson School). We really want to see something "new". It doesn't even need to be a specific object, it could be something more abstract. In fact, we definitely don't want to see the obvious dental imagery such as teeth, tooth brushes, smiles, etc.
Thanks again and I look forward to seeing what else you can come up with! Westside Media
crampfenburg01...I really like what you're doing with #42, #43 & #44.
Even though we only have one ranked so far, please keep them all up so we can show the dentists everything you've come up with. I personally like #44 the best, but they may like one of your other options better.
Two questions... 1. Is there any meaning behind the image being used? 2. Do you see any trouble recreating this logo on the dentist scrubs, signage, etc.? I'm fearful that the shape of the background and all the gradients being used will cause some trouble. I'm confident this will look great on the website and print materials, but am concerned about uniforms and signage.
Thanks again for your entries...great work! Westside Media
Hi, thank you very much for the motivating comments.
1/ there is no particular meaning behind the images (because they are quite abstract) but many intentions, the design is supposed to be inviting, natural, painless, smooth, medical and clean with a touch of distinction, shortly everything everyone expects from a dentist. 2/ No trouble at all. The logos are all conceived for web AND print in 4 colors. The gradients are far from complex (2 colors per gradient) and of course all design can be printed in a ratio of 1:1 on any material
I'll keep posting new variations so far. With less gradients and maybe quieter background shapes
The background shape is quieter, less gradients as well. The dark variations include the font color. I'll post a few variations later without any background
crampfenburg01...Thanks for all your hard work on this contest! Just to let you know, we will be presenting our favorite 10-12 logos to the dentists in the next day or two. Yours will definitely be included. I think we have enough ideas for now using your graphic. Like I said before, even though we only have a couple of yours ranked, please keep them all up because we will show them all to the dentists. I don't want to give you any specific direction until I speak with them.
Now, if you want to present a completely new concept, we are definitely open to that. Thanks again for your hard work...we really appreciate your time!
Personally, I love the new concepts...it's the cleanest, most creative use of the initials I've seen! However, they specifically asked us not to use initials. They did that the last time and they're afraid they'll need to re-brand themselves every time someone joins or leaves the practice. I may show this to them anyways...it's pretty nice!
