Whoa, Scott! Nice work -- right out of the gate. Thank you for playing. Would love to see #27 with a couple of other color combo options as you see fit. Would also really love to see #27 with a funky twist; could you do a version and eliminate the top portion of the icon? Sounds weird, I know, but my mind's eye is diggin' it already. Got a hunch it will rock. Thanks again for submitting! ~Geoff
Wow -- #29 kills! Try it without the ornaments on the left and right of 'villas?' Might have to kern 'villas' out or bump it up a point or two to get your balance. Your eye. Your call. Loving your work, Scott. THANKS! ~Geoff
Will do Geoff and thank you for considering my work....it's late my time after 1;30am so I'll upload revisions probs on Saturday it Canada Day tomorrow (Friday)
#51 -- digging the color scheme a lot. Interested to see the arc as more organic, less geometric/hard. Also -- in this case, a slight spur or some indication of the left-side vertical of the D may work. Try it? Please and thanks, Scott. ~G
As a person who has to be by the ocean (eastcoast) I think of windswept as worn, beach wood, or stones that have been eroded by sand from winds and surf. Mostly I'm reminded of watching gull soar along the beaches.
I hear ya, Scott. I live on the coast of South Carolina. Gotta have my ocean, too! I'm impressed with your ability to deliver different styles. Your stuff inspires me, so I hope you don't mind when I see something that sparks an idea. #68 -- I think "SWEPT" is overwhelming it now. Interested to see SWEPT reduced/scaled down so that the word visually top-aligns with the cropped tops of the W, I, and N. Make sense? ~G
#158 -- okay, now I'm REALLY nitpicking... can you slide the icon to the right just a touch. Looks like it wants to scoot that way for visual center. See what I mean...? And give a bit more space/air between the icon and the text.
(Wow! Picky contest holders ; ) This is what an old boss of mine called "picking fly sh*t out of the pepper."
