Definitely. I was just going to ask you about that. The original one I chose was because of the W matched the architectural rendering. But I will work on a different direction when I get home.
I still need letterhead, flyers, business cards etc so I don't mind seeing some more intricate. The purple one looks just like Weber State University to me. I graduated from there. I think I like the maroon more than the purple.
Of the typestyles I've used do you like any of them more than the first rank one? Do you like the amount of detail in the wheat versions, or do you want it to be more intricate? Thank you
I like 125 but i think it is starting to get too flourishy so we can try the other fonts perhaps. Also, lets see it in royal blue and white because that is our school colors. I don't have to do that, but we can see. thanks
I really want to be you designer on this so I'll do whatever it takes to make you the design you'll be proud of. Was Weber State's logo always that simple? I thought there was a different one before. Thank you for this opportunity - Kent
i like 176 but the w and m would is pretty obscure. Can you work with that to make it an interesting design but still keep the letters so eventually you get it even if not immediately. I also like a tree idea if you want to incorporate that into something
for 210- try the very top diamond-make a W and the very bottom, make an M. I like the logo, but it doesn't have any natural tie in to Windsor Manor other than coolness.
the 218 and others in that series are really cool. The wheat is looking like chicken feet to me though. Perhaps if it wasn't kernaled all the way up? Maybe use more distinct stalks like in 193. It might also be nice to have a little line coming down just a tiny bid on the bottom to make it look just a little like an M. thanks
perhaps take 216 and make two stalks of detailed wheat coming out each side and then on the top and bottom add a little line to make the W and the M just a little more distinct. Hope this is clear.
I think I know what you are looking for. I'll head home at lunch to work on those variations, but not sure I can do them that fast. On the first request: Do you prefer to have the same thing on all four corners, or wheat on just the top and bottom? On the second request, the top and bottom to look more like W and M's and the sides to look more like wheat, right?
I will work on that as soon as I get home. I believe that is copperplate, and I have several weights of that font. Percentage wise how much larger for each? I can make several to see which is closest to what you want.
on 247 can you blacken the ribbons going to the sides and down so only the wheat and middle circle is white. I think this might make it more distinct and less busy. I would also (if you have the time) like to do a merge of 193 and 247 where you keep the crest shape and put the design inside it with the wheat coming up the top like 247. In the circle, lose the Latin and put Welcome on the top and Home on the bottom. Then for text, put the thinner Windsor and underneath enlarged Manor. And one more version except don't have the circle at all but larger wheat coming out of the top and put Welcome Home underneath Windsor, Manor. Thank you so much
Windsor was a different font altogether, can't recall the name. A little more character, But I can reduce the width of it some. I'll try all the revisions you've requested.
