As a designer, I think you're right, and you should use the 2 versions :)
(No problem to send you files for both versions if you choose my logo)

im torn between the two. My gut feeling it that the would both work in different places. ie on screen, letter head, web etc. Whats your thoughts as a designer?

I’m loving this but could you try an alternative. Maybe that’s not so high? Not necessarily the height of the trees but maybe their position?not sure if that makes sense it would just be good to play around with it a bit if you can to explore it more. The elements feel right though and it might be we go with it but be nice to try some alternatives. TIA

I really love this but the trees seem a bit over bearing. Any chance you could play around with it? It looks good but as a logo it feels too much.
