Not sure about that, but its just a thought

And move the wings in closer to the cupcake so there is no white showing between the cupcake and wings

Same thing here on the cherry. Maybe make the stem the devil tail and no horns. The blue is pretty on the wings. I also do really like the first logo with that color of wings. Maybe change the background behind the cupcake some and make the cupcake holder a bit more modern looking. This is really cool
