Fish, you are working hard! OK, honestly we can fiddle with the mountain but here is the group concensus on your design concept: the version where you used the 2-peak pyramid mountain was best mtn element so far, would prefer just a basic shape, not a graphic that is actually trying to look like a mountain. The one with the snowman, minus the snowman, would be interesting to see because we really liked the skis element. We like the trees element here, too, not sure which we like better.
I'm not hating the skis, could actually maybe end up loving them, but the snowguy has to go. Sorry. Too cute. I'd like to see it without him in there...
OK, this one moves to the top of the list of your efforts, Fish! Still not psyched about the 'pyramid' look of the mountains, definitely like 2 peaks instead of 3, the A-frame with window concept is cool. I would not have much to complain about if the mtns. weren't pyramid looking and the snowcaps were less rigid looking.
Hey FishDesigns, interesting but looks too much like a "coat of arms" and we are looking for a more casual, outdoor vibe. Not royalty or heritage. The ski poles are a nice design element,
If it helps, take a look at this website: http://www.crescenthospitalityllc.com/
Imagine that site design (colors, feel) except the slideshow more about outdoor activities from our doorstep (hiker with big Rainier vista beyond, two kids playing in snow happy, epic ski shot, people sitting around a campfire drinking beer, a fly fisherman in sunset on lake, that sort of thing) instead of lodging/room photos. What would your logo design look like in place of the logo on this page? This is our approximate idea.
Feel the mountains are too symmetrical and almost look like a crown or tiara. There's nothing royal about our lodge, it is very down to earth. Like the background color. Like the text arrangement with larger font on the White Pass piece of it. Will fit nicely on a webpage header in small dimension, and you can still read the text.
