Hi Logope, Thank-You so much for your designs! We like #5 the most but are not totally in love. We feel the logos have more of the Web 2.0 feel instead of a sophisticated feel. For us the chair isn't quite right. We are looking to convey the image that Ballard Designs, West Elm, ZGallerie, and Pottery Barn have. We are two 30 year old women who have to appeal to clients who typically are not young and who like different styles. We do a lot of Coastal style decor like you might find in the Coastal Living Magazine. It feels sophisticated and elegant but still relaxing and family friendly.
Hi Logope, We would really like to see if you had any other ideas, The W idea was clever, but the chair style was a too thick and bubbly for us. I would love to see a different style chair and a Serif font like the one we suggested, and also a way to bring the chair and words together into a logo feel.
Thank you so much for your time! -Cynthia and Jess
Logope, Thank you so much for your revisions! Is there any way to get the design with a few other fonts shown? I like the chair a lot better as it isn't too thick like the first one! And I really like the idea with the W! Looks great! Thanks again, Jess & Cynthia
in my opinion a great logo should give a unique identity to your brand, because logo is the face of the brand.
here you can see the iconic logo (#142). people not only can see an actual white chair, they will also recognize letter W on it, the initial letter of the brand, and it can be called as "the W Chair", and that is what called as "brand identity". moreover the icon is pretty simple, people will be able to redraw it after they see it at a glance, it's one of the parameter of great logo.
