Here is one of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
The chair icon is actually made up from the letters of the name - W as the back rest and the C is the seat. I was going to give the chair just 1 leg representing the I, but thought it might look strange :)
The logo is 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed.
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
Hi Angus, Thank you for the logo! We really like the direction you are going with making it feel like a real logo! We want to see if you can tweak it? The logo itself looks more like a clothing line than a Interior Design company. So we were hoping you could take off the Establish date and do a font and lines that are less like a hand drawn look. I think we are leaning toward a Serif Font. Here are some quick font ideas and you don't have to stick to these but I just searched dafont.com quickly for some I liked. Optimus Princept, Apple Garamound, Assassin, Galdino otten, Adolphus, Barkentina 1, Echelon.
Thanks for the great feedback and comments ... Unfortunately I've just been informed that someone else came up with the idea first, and therefore I've had to remove mine. Sorry about that - I never saw theirs, but rules are rules. I'll go and think of a new idea :)
Hi Angus, Yes but funny thing was I didn't see it in their design either until someone pointed it out. It wasn't obvious to me. lol. Looking forward to your next idea!
I thought this time I'd go in a different direction to everyone else with these; #54, #55, #56 and #57. Its probably not quite what you were expected but I thought I'd try out-the-box and see what happened :)
