Just letting you know that I've given some revised info in the brief to give you more artistic freedom. It is: I'm a woman with very short red hair and glasses. This might give you a way to incorporate a different color combination than the blue and green combination.

Really love the simplicity of #27. One concern: it has so much in common with Apple Computer's logo that I wonder if it wouldn't cause us a problem later. Possible solutions: a red apple--formed a little less like the apple in Apple computer's logo. If you did this, you'd probably need to switch to another color combination e.g. red and black.

As I say, the simplicity is wonderful!

You're right. i did some research. Looks like Apple is quite protective of, any other company using apple imagery, in any form. Even though my design is very different from apple's, it seems I cannot use of any kind of apple imagery in the logo. It is kind of unreasonable to trademark a common fruit, but this is the fact. I will submit few other options for you. Thanks for your concern.

I keep coming back to #39 in the cap and gown. I showed this to my teammates and their reaction was that this person was kid of creepy in a "computerized-icon" sort of way. I don't know if there's a way around that or not. Any thoughts on how we could modify that? Appreciate your work very much!

What if 39 had blue eyes? Or is there a less "icon" looking image you could use in her place?

I think 61 still has dark eyes. I wonder if I could see her with blue eyes. I think this would look more lifelike.

My feeling about this is that I want this to be a little less cartoon-ish or icon-ish. But I love the idea of a character in the center of this logo, with her arms folded and ready to help.
