this polished version will works best on dark background, as you can see the white background version is not as goog as this one, please check entry #160

B/W version, you will get this on application such as photocopier, fax, embossing, as you can see this logo still works the same way as the color version.

a silver polished version works best on dark background, darker will be better, as you can see here. the most important thing is the logo form itself, we can modify it in any colors depends on the purpose, a great logo should be able to work on B/W version as good as the color version

I want to first start by saying I like all of your renderings. so I am not sure how to blend them all together.
I would like this one to have a white background. try putting logo on the left side vs on top.

meanwhile about the logo style, did you already figuring what kind of logo that you want? is it WK initial letter, wordmark, icon style, illustration style ?
i need to know it so i can work on the right direction since the final result is will be decided by the you.

Look up T.I.G. (GTAW)and you see what we are talking about. Sparks in arc or wire feed is cause be the displacement on the filler metal that does fuse with the base metal.

did you mean arc welding, since my google show it make sparks,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arc_welding
and sparks is well known happened in welding process. but if don't want the spark to be in the logo that i can move to other concepts
