We like this look feel for our client without the extra "web 2.0" shine on it. Do like the "19" "32" on your other distressed version. Might like to see you push the color a little more, deeper, warmer colors as an option.
Regarding your new designs, #13 in particular, we would like it better with a different "W". Maybe a sans serif? Also, a little more separation between the leaves? The gold color is a bit bold, and the tan used in some of the others we don't really care for at all.
#'s 9 - 12, would like to see more of a chocolate brown instead of the burgundy color, and on numbers 11 & 12, change the "W, plant & ring" to a different color all together (white, grey, your choice). On numbers 9 & 10, besides the brown color change, might like to see the background from #13 added to this option behind the "W". Just a thought.
for 24 and 25, might you try the white letter against the golden background, with either the dark brown in the ring or dark green possibly. Like the golden field look, not sure about the green letter up against it. and thanks, number 33 has a lot of detail, and we like where it is going. It may need to be simplified some, but we'll review further in the morning and let you know if we have any other thoughts. thanks for the effort!
#39, like it better than #33, but would like the tone back into the outer band and the flags added back to the Wedgworth's banner on either side. Nice work overall Murat! great range and appreciate the volume.
Just re-ranked the list with the final top three, and as you can see, one of yours is now at number one. The client wanted to see if you could make a couple of modifications to help them finalize their decision. I know it's late in the game, but I can ask Logo Tournament for a 3 day extension if you need the time. 1. they would like to see a version(s) with all of the brown elements in blue, maybe one option with a dark blue and one option with a bright blue and one with a combination of the two (this would include the "W" as well on all). 2. they would like to see a version with all of the brown elements in white. 3. they would like to see the banner at the bottom switched out for more of a rounded approach, less hard edges and pointed corners on all revised versions. They referenced the other two finalists when they made this comment, if that info helps.
thanks Murat. We have changes to your original top pick, #17, and will send those shortly once we compile all of the comments. Hope all is well with you and your family and we send our thoughts and prayers to all those affected by the terrible earthquake that hit over the weekend. Dan.
thanks a lot for your kind wishes. It is so unfortunate. Fortunately I am living on west coast of turkey which is far away from the earthquake but of course we feel the pain.
About the design you can ask for anything you have in mind. I will do it. In the end, I would like to be sure that you are %100 satisfied with the logo.
Hey Murat. If possible, we have a couple more comments before the client makes their decision. First, let’s take #17 and just make the color changes that you did with the others (browns to Navy blue), similar to #78 (do not change the golden field background, this will need to change on the other versions with the rounded corners and such referenced more below). Second, They would like to see a version with the flag ends gone, leaving only the main curved banner with the company name sitting across the bottom. Maybe even a version with a straight rectangular banner with circular ends, with the company name knocked out. And on several of your revised logos (currently ranked 3rd through 6th), we need to go back to the golden field lines in the background rather than the golden sun rays (leave what you did and we'll show them these as well, but the golden field lines from the original #17 was one of the elements that they really liked). Lastly, can you take a new #78 with the above banner modifications and have the banner across the bottom blend from navy blue to green to navy blue instead of the lighter blue in the center, and add a blended green to the top of the curved outer ring so it starts navy blue on the left, curves up around and changes to green towards the middle/top and then blends back to navy blue bottom right. sorry for all of these tweaks, but I feel we are close. It’s really between your logo and the one other, currently ranked second. Thanks for all your hard work and sorry for not answering you messages sooner, but we were out of touch over the weekend.
Murat. Last round of changes to help keep your logo in contention. On the now ranked top two, can you make the colors stronger, the blues need to be more of a deep Navy blue, the green can go a little darker, and then brighten up the golds (brighter yellow and yellow/gold). Add a bright gold stroke around the entire outer edge of the logo, around the banner, around the W, and around both sets of leaves, each leaf with it's own stroke. Lastly, make Wedgworth's type on banner gold. Just these revisions to these two logos is all that is requested. thanks again for all of your hard work, and I wish you the best of luck with this contest and any others you work on! You've been a pleasure to work with.
