Hi, since I have thoroughly explained the concept in our discussion under my initial entry I would like to point out the strengths and importance of having a meaningful logo.
A logo has to sum up what the business does in a smart way to have a higher recognition value..
Its structural elements can communicate a lot about the business itself. Good logo design doesn't just create something that looks nice - it has to communicate a brand message.
"A logo is less important than the product it signifies; what it means is more important than what it looks like." a quote by one of the best designers of all time - Paul Rand (logo designer legend, IBM, Westinghouse etc)
Please give me some time when you
temporarily change the rankings because I have a few meetings to attend and I might not be able to upload immediately.. Thanks
Meanwhile let me explain the concept in depth.. - The rectangle represents the packets . The heart stands for the loved ones and the shape inside the heart represents 2 things at the same time, first(naturally) its a seed.It is also no coincidence that the seed and the heart are one shape and not done separately as this is what you actually do - the connection between the loved ones and the seeds. Since there are different seed shapes at first I used a different one but then I realized I can add depth to the meaning by using the same shape of a seed that also looks like a water drop.. this is the second thing that the shape inside the heart represents - it makes perfect sense since your customers would naturally think of their loved ones while watering the plants . Again we have the idea of your firm - the connection between the loved ones and your product. I put a lot of thought in it because I liked the very idea of your business and it reminded me of the ideas of an 20th century Austrian artist so it was interesting for me to try to put a lot of meaning in the logo - after all thats the idea of a good logo design. That way it will stand out from other plant-related business who usually rely on a few leaves to represent what they do. I am excited to hear your thoughts on that .
Hi, I must have missed the end of the first phase, currently only the first 5 ranked designers can upload entries.
You can temporarily rank me among the fisrt 5 and I will be able to upload.
This is really spot on and very much the style we are looking for. I'm working with a team that also needs to give feedback. Trying to get their input this morning. As well. Thank you.
Hi there,my objective was to create a clean, simple and most of all meaningful design that contains a strong but subtle message. I have invested a lot of thought on paper until I came up with this concept.I will wait for some initial feedback to see your thoughts on it before explaining the whole concept. Please keep in mind that the style/type/colors can be changed/customized and refined. Best Regards
