Hi Daniel,

Thank you so much for your beautiful entries! I like so many aspects of them. I prefer the grey/black tones with the burst of color on entries 3 and 4, I'm a little less drawn to the turquoise elements in entry 5. I love the feel of how the elements are combined symetrically with the "person" in the center. I also love the city skyline, as my studio is in the center of Chicago. I do have a couple of thoughts...since the "wellness collective" part of the logo is displayed less prominantly below the "Pilates" part of the logo, I'm wondering if we could feature the wellness aspect in the image. Both the Lotus Flower and Poppy are Traditional Chinese Herbs, and I'm wondering if I could see something "organic" featuring something like a flower or vines where the cityscape is currently? Or perhaps something "asian" or flowery could be integrated into the font? I am an acupuncturist and herbalist in addition to a pilates instructor, and I'd love to see something that reflects that in the logo. (I'm torn though, because I love that cityscape!)

I love what you did with the L&V wines logo, and the grapevine productions logo that you did!! (Which is one of the reasons I thought that maybe an "organic" element might be nice.) Again, thank you for submitting...your designs are lovely!

Best,
Aimee

Hi Daniel,

Yes, I did like the changes! (Although I really like the original design as well.) I like how you've made the city scape even more visible in both #6/7. I also really like idea of the lotus-type leaf that looks like it could be a person with hands up as well. I would love to see the same type of idea with a lotus flower or poppy in a bright/reddish orange. (For some reason I'm so attracted to those flowers and colors!) I think that we're on the right track! Thank you so much for your ideas!

Hi Daniel,

Good Lord...you must work 20 hours per day! I like the Lotus flower (in entry 13 especially!!). I'm wondering if we could make the dot in the middle black, and could I possibly see the flower in a reddish version of pink? I've never done this before, so I apologize if I'm being picky...your designs are really beautiful as they are, just trying to find the perfect fit! Thank you so much for all of your hard work. I hope you get to have a big old glass of wine here soon...

Hi Daniel --

I love where this is going! I've had a couple of friends/business associates log on and take a look, and I've had a couple of comments (one from a man) that the logo is becoming too "feminine". I'm sort of OK with that, as the majority of the clients that I see for pilates are women, but I'm wondering if we could play with the script font. I'm thinking that the combination of the script font and the lotus are pushing it over the feminine "edge". Could we look at a font that is still pretty but a little less feminine? Thanks so much. This all is really beautiful!!

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for showing me the different font options! My favorite is still your original choice with the script font -- I think it is lovely. I just need to decide whether the script will translate effectively to the awning. Either way your designs are wonderful, and I love them all!

Hi Daniel,

Love everything...Ok...so I think that I'm going to go with entry #20 (that I have ranked first). Two things; One: would it be possible to make the skyline "Chicago oriented"? It doesn't need to be bigger, but there are a couple of things that make the Chicago skyline very recognizable (the Hancock tower, Willis Building) and I'm wondering if we could put those little details in. Also...my awning will be BLACK, so I'm wondering if you are able to give me this logo, and then one where the black is white, and the white is black to show up on a black background. Don't know exactly how that works...but wondering if it's possible. Again...thank you for your patience, and I LOVE what you've come up with!!

Yay. Lovely. So...is there a way to obtain both logos (one for biz cards and one for awning)? Thanks again for the quick turn around!!
