Hi, I would like to share a bit of my thought process when designing the logo, I use this emblem style to strengthen image of classic irish pub like requested on the brief and since I imagine main customer of the pub would be male, overall look of the logo (like the colors or fonts) leaning towards more masculine side rather than feminine. If you have anything in mind to improve my design, I would love to work on it.

Hi Weathtel, I just would like to inform you I just inform other designer that I want to protect my catchphrase in this contest "at Weatherford Hotel" because I come with this first on this contest and LT do have rules regarding ideas protection, you may found this on the bottom of each page under Contest Holder guidelines.

I once again want to share my thought when I come up with that phrase, I could see most of the contestant using either something like 'since 1897' or something implying The Gopher Hole itself is the Hotel,

I found this a bit incorrect message to conveyed, because from what I understand The Gopher Hole is a bar inside the hotel and not the hotel itself, and The Gopher Hole itself is not open from 1897, you are still in renovating process of your basement right now, this basement are going to be future bar, The Gopher Hole.

So that is why I made that phrase and I want to protect that phrase or asked designer concerned to work it out with me if the phrase are going to be used into the final logo.

Could you Change the flag color to gold on ranked 12. Also I asked you to add " at the Weatherford hotel " on February 28 it wasn't your idea and that is why I asked the other designer to try it in his design is that a problem? I do really appreciate your thoughts.

About your request on Feb 28, as you can see on the design timestamp and comment timestamp -my entry #67 #68 with that sentence included are submited before your comment is made. I know it maybe sounds only a minor thing, but actually this kind of protection are the only type of security designer have when working on crowdsourcing site.

I tried different shade of gold, more bright and dimmer, since we have gold more prominent I also tried black as the background.
