thanks for your participation. At this juncture I am looking for one of my top five logo designers to really steep up and push the design to make it more personalized to my line of work...psychology. It needs to be something that looks very professional, sophisticated, defined, specific to my industry. Although the name of my practice is Waterford it has little to do with water. It just so happens to be the location of the practice...on Waterford drive :) I really want the logo to look more sophisticated. Even if it is a stylized "W" or some other design that looks sophisticated, educated...pertaining to psychology and the services we provide.
Hello, In your entry number 43 you have nailed the colors Im looking for: the dark black and bold "Waterford" for stability and confidence, and the touch of blue for trustworthiness, and the touch orange for energy and passion. I just wish this logo reflected more of what I do as a psychologist. Im not sure what image Im looking for, but something that related more to what I do as a profession. any ideas?
Your use of the symbol for "psychology" may have some potential. nice creativity. Now if there is some way to make it look sophisticated...Its a hard symbol to use as it often looks like a pitch fork :)
Thanks for cranking out several designs for me to consider!!much appreciated! I would like to see design 79...the round spheres in light blue, dark blue and light grey, with the white forming the symbol for psychology. Would those colors add to the sophisticated look, like the blue and white for BMW? I really want when they compare our psychological service to others to get the impression that we are much more refined and sophisticated and up on the latest in our field.
so what is your opinion...do the blues get at the sophisticated feel that Im looking for? what colors would u use to convey the stability, trustworthiness and sophistication Im looking for?
thanks for your continued work on this. Im liking the Psi symbol idea. Still not sure we have nailed the colors. My tag line will be "Strengthening Individuals, Couples and Families" Although I dont want this tag line in the log itself, I think the three spheres can represent these three groups of people that I hope to strengthen thru psychological services. what colors work best in conveying this idea? I like the blue and grey but wish they were a little darker so as to highlight the symbol. At the same time I like your take on the confidence idea of yellow.
Hi Och, I am leaning more an more toward your design. I really appreciate you putting some thought into what I am looking for. Very much appreciated. I ran the design by my web page designer who will be incorporating this logo into my web design and he ask me to ask you the following: Ask the designer to do the following:
- Play with the positioning of the icon (left, right, top). - Try a few different serif and sand serif typefaces. This will give you some options since all the typefaces shown are the same. - Try a few with the Waterford typface in the matching blue colors. - Have the three circles solid colors instead of gradients. gradients don't print well. - also have the designer give you the pantone color #s for the colors they are using.. you will need that for print.
Are these reasonable requests or something that should be addressed in the final editing of the logo?
That sound's good. You design is definitely my pic! I will get back with you with the one we want and hopefully we can fine tune the colors and details.
Dear Reka, Congratulations for your winning logo!! I very much appreciated your willingness to go the "extra mile" in using your creative skills to produce a logo that I am very happy with. I especially appreciated your willingness to accept my feedback and incorporate that into your design. It was a real pleasure working with you. I will attaching a color scheme and font scheme to a private email showing what I would like for you to use in the final draft. This is a color scheme developed by my web page designer. this will make the editing process easier and simpler. The design at the very top of the page is the one I want. thanks again for all your work! Sincerely,
