Water Now Inc.Logo Design Contest

Scott - you have been the most thoughtful with respect to understanding the company. A couple others have sent in their thinking with respect to the logos, but most have not. I have just sent out a survey to the selection team and we'll see what they come back with. Thanks for all the work on this!

okay, I did my absolute best for this project. Questino has anyone else given back stories for their designs...it's important to know that desingers undertstand the company not just some arbitray icon hoping to win.

It's just the feeling that I get when I look at the picture without reading anything. It's just feedback. Not meaning anything harsh.

golf really... how do you get golf from a water based company with worldwide in the tag? I am confused

The globe in back makes me think of a golf tournament. Thanks for trying something new though!

We are looking for a logo that will project confidence in our company. We like flat designs vs 3D designs. we are trying to come up with a simple logo that will be able to stand on its own and still make people think of Water delivery without the words "Water Now" attached to the logo. The two that we have ranked above yours are not perfect, but they are a little cleaner and the team is drawn to them. I like the font you are using, but some on the team don't. Maybe play with the font and colors a bit to see if that changes their perspective. As far as the graphic goes, I like it too, but others aren't drawn to it as much. Hard to say why. Ithis is on the right track, I just don't know how to tell you where to go with it to appeal to the others - sorry. But, I will say that you are definitely the designer with the most diverse set of concepts so far. Try another couple concepts and see what happens. Sorry for not being able to be more specific. Art is tough!

What can I do to improve this concept or is there an other idea that has not been done yet?

I like it, but it may still be too abstract. Our CEO is going to have the final word. I'll keep it in the running.

Scott - I love the concept and the way you think. This may be too abstract for the folks that we're going to be in front of, but I like this one personally. I like the three flowing lines as well. Could you try to see what this might look like with the lines going horizontally across the O instead of vertically? Right now it makes me think of an earring.

The icon is based on Japanese Zen sand garden. The circle represent a river basin / bowl. The 3 vertical line represent river/stream combined together clean water flowing into a bowel.

Thank you for the compliment, to me it's all about focus and interpreting the brief and the idustry. some people simply uplaod icons without any thought...Me on the other had I need to be inspired by the contest I enter...sometimes my method works sometimes not...as the quote says "you can lead a horse to water" pun intended hahahaha

Man, you are quick! I'm starting to dig this. I love the way you think. Could you take out the stem of the leaf and just make this about water so I can see how it looks like that? Also maybe try one or two with some green somewhere? I'll be gone until later this afternoon, but thanks so much for coming up with so many different designs so quickly!

this is work in progress, needs refinement

I am drawn back to a water drop for that immediate recognition, the differnce with this is.

1. the over all shape is abstract water drop,

2. the lower section represents worldwide bowel or collective.

3. the upper section (leaf) represents the clean impact on the environment.

Like I said in another comment, Thanks for being so creative! This icon is too complex for me, but thanks so much for thinking about our company's image!

You are so creative! For us, I need an icon that can stand on it's own one day without words and that is also simple and conservative. Please keep trying! However, I really like what you did with the Water Now letters. Definitely keep that style with anything you do going forward. Thanks so much!

I like the general feel of this, but I don't like the shield logo or the "!" at the end of worldwide. I think I would prefer a circular outline for the icon, but something other than a straight teardrop or water fall for the interior
