After having taken a couple of days to consider this design, I would like to suggest one change. Could you change the brushstroke lines to formal lines, but with decreasing width in the same way you have here in #104? Also, end the lines square instead of in the brushstroke style.

I think this is really the way we should go. Let's try the same pattern - leaning away from the view but in an unbounded oval shape. Let the lines end at the edges like brushstrokes a instead of ending sharply as if they were cut. Forget about the form of the building. I love the pattern you've created and would like it to appear on its own now. The circle is just not enough of a suggestion anymore.

Thanks! I'm looking for even tighter. The vignette oval can impinge on the top of the building as well. We can concentrate on the pattern and a mere suggestion of the building. Sorry to make you run like this... ;-)

Yes! Like this but without the oval line. Leave the lines open. It can be an even smaller image of the building is fine.

Even better! Could you try a version so that the building is presented through an oval-shaped vignette? It's okay if we lose most of the sides of the building. I love that pattern that still may be recognizable to someone living here in the city.

Nice effect! I know a lot of the submissions seem to have a lot of fine lines. Would you be able to make this a bit more basic and coarser? I have this feeling things need to have less detail for embroidered or rubber stamp presentation.
