#52 | #53 - I tried to play on the word "moving" with an arrow in the hill, and the word "moving" leaning forward as if in motion in the tagline.
I think even the roofline contains a feeling of movement as it seems to come toward the viewer. I also feel the roofline is less generic than many of the straight lines that dominate your industry.
I agree on the visibility. Keep it clean and simple. Small details will blur from a distance. I also recommend removing the "group" as it uses up valuable space, and will also blur into oblivion from a distance.
#114 and #117 are my favorites as they do all of these things well.
#121 is a nice all contained logo icon, that also looks great as a web header. Its also a trick of the trade to use a dark back behind text to make the text appear bigger and more readable. I think this would look great on a sign.
We are now receiving feedback from friends, colleagues and family. Your logos #53 & 56 are standing out. Your latest submissions bring snow capped roof to mind and that doesn't really fit. I would like to see what your logos look like on a black background.
Only the top ranked designer can make changes during judging. You are permitted to shuffle the ranks to allow others to make the changes. I would be glad to submit a black background if you re-rank.
I will be ranking you with some suggestions. I've thrown contest out to friends & colleagues and while their choices are varied, you are the only designer that ALL have picked at least one of your logos.
Here are the final things I'd like to see. Clarity of parties via: Separation of names with some space...Ward Field also, Different colors for names...Ward Field
"Group" if present...smaller and left in logo as our domain is "WardField.com" ".com" also de-emphasized. I like it either below Name line or at the end vertical. Want our website known but we aren't a .com company. If that makes sense.
If you haven't already submitted a version with a black background, please do so.
Last, it has become clear we need to add.."Realtors, A Real Estate Group, Professional Realtors" or something that identifies us as Realtors, not a moving company :)
