I like the integration of global into the logo piece, im not sure I like the font choice. The styling of the site: http://dev.vpglobal.com/site/ and the logo should be complimented well, im OK with experimenting with some other color variations, shapes. The font is a little to techie in my opinion, please try to relax it a bit so its not so blocky. Maybe adding a shape around the entire logo and company name may make it look better, something like Skype, linkedIN, does? I also like the "air canada" when its stacked.
