Like the simplicity of this one. Concerned that other partners in company would not be on board with its simplicity. "Don't want the design to be too understated... I want people to have a distinct impression - just like they have when they see our product for the first time."
really like the font for these - though something about that "y"...that little notch where the descender meets the rest of the letter...looks a little odd to me. Obviously it helps define the letter form, but I'd like to see another font that is close to this with a different "y".
Waveman. Really like your clean and professional style. Your concepts are great and are falling right in line with what we want to communicate as a company. Thank you.
On a side note... My business partners and I had a look at you portfolio and was drawn to the logo you did for Nimbus. Particularly the one with the logo to the left (stylized cloud with graph) and the modern font in all caps. Would it be possible to get one more concept with that treatment in mind?
Another thought was to incorporate some kind of treatment to the "o" in one of your current posts (I.e. #92). Something that would give us that Nimbus cloud icon that we all like so much... a stand alone logo we could use in other parts of our marketing collateral.
Sure. I can use this cloud in your logo as Nimbus contest holder prefer something else. As you want the cloud on the left, would you like me to remove the slogan from this version or you'd rather see it on the bottom?
I like these. But I don't know that the cloud is a good representation of who we are. Could we try something in a similar style but have it be a pin or voice bubble or...
Don't over think it too much. Just follow the same style and layout of the Nimbus logo you did (the one with cloud/bar symbol to left, name to right with tag underneath) but create a symbol that is more right-time, right-place communication.
Before we pick a winner we have asked the top 5 designers to make modifications to their designs. We are hoping to go one step deeper in the exploration of the word "communication" as it applies to our business and our new brand.
Waveman... For entry #92, could you explore ideas around making the "o" in voyst become a voice bubble? Perhaps the negative space in the "o" is the bubble itself with tail extending from left to right? or maybe its a combination of cloud and voice bubble? (we are still really intrigued by the nimbus cloud icon) Or maybe the whole "o" is a voice bubble in and of itself. Hopefully that makes sense.
Thank you. We look forward to seeing your designs.
