Look at the Capital One or AT&T logos. Both of them have the curves that change width to suggest depth. Your original design had this element. The V can be straight, with the diagonal sash having this curve effect?
Happy to pay a bonus if you could clean it up a little: remove the head, so it's just the V, make the V a bit more stylish, make the negative space sash a bit of curve/change in girth
Ha, close! Make the person more like a V and less like a person, and the ribbon can go diagonally around his shoulder and opposite waist like a sash from a beauty pageant or a seat belt in the front seat? Looks good! Will send you a bonus if we can nail this down.
How can we make the V that looks like a man with his arms raised in Victory, and with your smoother V over it like a ribbon/sash/seatbelt over the V with arms raised?
Don't worry about putting the slogan in or whatever. That's just the attitude. How can we make this more...exciting/energetic/victorious? That V has a cool curve to it. What else could it represent? A roller coaster track? Two arms raised in triumph? The ring of a planet? A ribbon awarded for quality? What is the next level of sophistication?
Thanks, so far yours are the only ones that are remotely interesting. I'm wondering what the next layer of sophistication could be. Does it look a little bit like a flower? A roller coaster track?
