Our initial thoughts are that we like this. We like the typeface and we like the colours used for the lettering. We also like it's relatively sensible / corporate positioning without it looking dull! It feels like a trustworthy, stable brand.
We also like the grey swoosh as it suggests a product with numerous functions. Where we feel it needs a little development is perhaps the blocks within the swoosh - are they a little too random - should them be a little more suggestive towards the products function (ie video promotion and production).
re #9 - we still really like this logo but we're also interested in seeing how it might look with the icon on the left and wording on the right, on one line as opposed to one below the other.
Because the Icon will probably need to be reduced in size so as not to overpower the wording, this might mean a re-think of the icon itself; perhaps making it simpler....
We still think the typecase is really strong through...
The darker and tighter ring works well I think - not sure so much about the little piece of corner that's now showing below it - should it be more corner or none at all? At the moment it looks to much of a slither?
Based on the influx of other designs, we still like your style but its become apparent that we are favouring simplicity - how do we simplify what you've done without ruining its sharpness - the lettering is great - keep that - is it possible to pare down the icon in anyway but still maintain its overall spirit to what Videobuilder does?
I will keep to the simplistic route, and will look at simplifying what i have done and will upload again later. Thanks for all of your feedback, much appreciated :)
