I like the thought of the magnifying glass. The image doesn't really distinguish that there is a magnifying glass. He looks too sneak here. Like he is hiding in the hole.

I think the gopher needs to look more badass. I want that gopher to go on a shirt or hat. It could stand alone or like you have it. 2-4 colors max. Also - "digging deep to find the best price" is not needed in the logo.
