my first idea: a vessel of vision...notice the main design is focused around the shapes of the letter V. i feel this is generic enough to represent all your projects and it represents community development and family enrichment quite nicely. Am I close to what you would like?
VIDI, Thank you for added a new concept (fresh ideas) to this contest...This is a very good start. My only complaint is that the cross is at the bottom and looks a bit out of place, This design may not be a good fit for adding a cross and that is ok because the cross is not a requirement, but if possilble I would like to work it in... Also, I would have liked to see a few entries with color variations...This contest has not had many attempt to introduce new colors....Overall I like the concept, it has a focus on community and it is a generic in nature. Thank you for the explaination because I almost missed the people were V shaped.
Thanks and I did notice the cross. I was diassapointed to see you removed the other two color options, because I'm still not sold on the colors. Can I see an option that incorporates steel gray and a darker blue background?
sorry about my deletions....i only did so because I saw your reason to extend the contest was to accommodate a designers request for more time....here in LogoTournament things like this are seen as a bit uncertain...there are instances where a CH would bring an outside designer to copy other's work and ultimately choose them. I've been in this situation before, so protecting my work/concept is important to me here. If you are dissatisfied with any designs here...i would love to perfect my design for you...but extending the contest because some other designer cannot meet a deadline made me overprotective about my work....nothing against you....i'm sure you understand. here is my color option.
VIDI, I completely understand your point of view. But this puts me in a tough spot. The main reason for extending the contest is that all of the designs were starting to look alike. And I'm not sure if you have noticed that my top ranked entries are usually different from each other. I am using this approach to promote individuality. However, I have to respect your efforts to protect your work and not give each contest away. I really like the color change for #141. Just FYI, my top entries will continue to rotate while my Board Members are giving me feedback, but as long as I have you in the top 4 entries please do not remove the concept ( unless you plan to resubmit it on the final day). Question: If another designer creates an image that is almost identical to your work, can you take them to logo court?

My website has been "underconstruction" for a while (http://www.vesselsofvision.com/). I think I have decided on a website template. I'm not sure, but I also think I may keep the templates color scheme. The logo would replace the Butterfly logo on the template. Can I see an example of #141 using primary colors similar to those in the butterfly logo?
VIDI, I still like your original entry best....(original font also)...I hate to keep asking you to change this logo, because my suggestions have not improved the original artwork. I'm still not 100% satisfied with the colors. I have a question, when you deliver the vector file would it be something that could be edited later / easily? Also, would I get the other color versions or only the one ranked as my winning choice?
i will be able to provide you with any color variation you like, no need for you to adjust the color yourself....but you could do it yourself, i'll provide any additional files via email after logotournament transaction is complete. No problem.

i can do any and all color edits during judging mode also. It's 3am now, so it will be close to 7am when the contest ends....i'm available during judging mode.
VIDI, Below are two entries I would like to see...in both can you work on improving the visibility of the cross?Can I see the logo using:
1. The same background color as #2 ranked entry (maroonish) also including yellow, green and blue primary colors in the oval.
2. The logo smaller and to the left of the words (I'm thinking this could be used for ink pen printing) using entry #141 as the template. Same colors are fine.
these are the codes you gave me...is this what you intended? the blue 330066 code you gave me is more on the purple side. The yellow is very pale cccc99...i followed your codes.
