The logo is made out of 4C Process CMYK with graduated colors.
I think the best way to give your suppliers an ideas of color is if I break each section down into PMS colors with the "approximate" CMYK conversion in parentheses (CMYK) ... that should work.
Here goes:
The Poker chip in the background is Black and the Orange areas are PMS 1575 (M23Y100) graduated to PMS 192 (M100Y60)
The Word Vegas: inside is PMS 2985 (C60) graduated to PMS 1205 (Y35) the solid blue behind Vegas it is PMS 286 (C100M70)
The word SPORT$DAY: Inside is a graduated tone of PMS 1205 which I darkened a little (C35K15) The background box is outlined in PMS 192 and the inside is PMS 288 graduated with PMS 292.
Thanks Bill. I will pass that long to them. They sent me something from the Denver Broncos in the NFL, a team that they have worked with a lot. I wanted to copy and paste the logo here, but that would not come out, but they list the colors as:
From this photo, colours include vat orange, ultramarine blue/smalt blue, titanium white, and the yellows can be any of the cadmiums (light, medium, dark)
OK, the home stretch now. As part of the show background, the logo will appear in a large video monitor. We tested today, and believe that it will be much more dynamic off of a black background, which will showcase he colors better. If you have the time, could we see #23 and #47 on a black background? With the regular spelling of Sportsday on $47?
