Here are my initial designs for your review: a stylized, energetic running figure over the Vancouver skyline. The logo could stand alone, as well as the wordmark, or together (as shown). Comments/Critique is always welcome.
Thank you for the personal feedback. I was actually in the process of finalizing some new designs when you posted this. I look forward to seeing what you think of these, as I think they may be more what you are looking for.
Each one is made up of all clean, flat colors; allowing for affordable and great looking screenprints on shirts and other apparel. For example, #24 would only be a 3-color print on white garments.
ok i'm not sure anyone is actually reading the brief...
i am looking for a LOGO not a drawing or illustration. in the brief it states that. think of other athletic companies like adidas or nike or in the examples given by logo tournament the intention is to put the logo/symbol next to the text "vancouver running tours". the logo may only be 2" wide on the tshirt. i also stated that the logo could not be an acronym (vrt)
OK, so you want a simpler logo. The ones I created would work well at a small size, but I understand what you are looking for. I will come up with some new ideas and post them tomorrow.
I have submitted some new ideas for your review. I took the initial mountain/city shape, and I separated them with a "V". It is simple, but professional and clean for production. Let me know if any of these appeal to you, and I will try to push them further for you.
whatever you come up with needs to sit in a perfect shape. when the logo is printed small on a shirt it will look jagged. #7 by farfi is in the perfect shape.
Same logo, but reflected. Both have the shape of a mountain and a "V",but this one has a more dominant mountain shape. This logo could be used in both ways, making it easy to have alternate versions for different uses.
