I absolutely LOVE this! I really like the legs of the tripod as an A, it's fun, which my company is. We're a little ridiculous but also professional. I'm not sure I'd go with red (many designers seem to like red) but we can always change the colour after.
Colours I like are green and orange (not together, one or the other). Maybe red is more punchy for a photography business logo, I'm not sure.
Anyway, I love the direction this is taking, with the interpretation.
I really appreciate your logos! It was a VERY close contest and it came down to professionalism vs. fun. I wish I could have used both (but of course that is ridiculous). I'm sorry to see that you withdrew your logo submission, as I think it shows people your talent and style. Many people I polled preferred yours, and I also loved it.
