We like the one with the checkmark through the "A" as it forwards the concept of Valid sources of energy, less risk etc. Since we drill in the ground for oil and gas there may be some additional opportunity to add concepts of this using the "I" in Valid in relation to the Checkmark coming across the top.
Also, showing providing concept of topography through use of gradation -- layers of earth so to speak -- also helps to further the concept. Having a more earthly look may also help, but again we leave the creative choices in your hands.
